Comments:
That was so close to 5x5 for 105kg squats! Was minimizing my lower back rounding/ hip-drifting-forward at the bottom position. Great day!

Dips

Pull Ups

Nothing much to comment for squats, just hard! Push ups with the plate on your back is quite effective but does not target chest as much.

2x4-----105kg

Jerk

Dips

Pull Ups

Comments:
Nothing much to comment for squats, pull ups with the weight belt felt different but might have been more effective use of muscle. The rope was cutting into me though.

Comments:
Managed to last through squats. Bench pressed for only 3 sets, will try 5 sets on Wednesday. Weighted pull ups are not easy, I WILL adapt! Okay, so i maxed the dumb bell on weighted dips, I shall ask Jordon for the rope belt thingy. Did tabatas with Bertrand, 20 seconds work 10 seconds rest, 8 cycles totaling to 4 minutes. Tried for 15 squats, tiring man, massive muscle pump.

Where do we go now?

Was listening to music while writing the previous post and interestingly enough, the lyrics of Sweet Child o' Mine by the great Axl Rose:

Oh where do we go now?
No, No, No, No, No, No, No
Sweet Child,
Sweet Child o' mine.

I kinda twisted the lyrics and behold the brainchild of my insanity!

Oh where do we go now?

SQUAT, SQUAT, SQUAT, SQUAT, SQUAT, SQUAT, SQUAT!
Sweet Child,
Sweet Child o' mine.

In other news

He said turn me around
And take me back to the start
I must be losing my mind

-PARADISE CITY!!!!

I want to go
I want to know
Oh, won't you please take me home

I want to see
Oh, look at me
Oh, won't you please take me home

Take me down to the paradise city
Where the grass is green
And the girls are pretty
Take me home (Oh, won't you please take me home)

Take me down to the paradise city
Where the grass is green
And the girls are pretty
Oh, won't you please take me home

Take me down
Oh yeah
Beat me down
Oh, won't you please take me home

I want to see
Oh, look at me
Oh, won't you please take me home

I want to see
Boy, I'm gonna be mean
Oh, oh take me home

Take me down to the paradise city
Where the grass is green
And the girls are pretty
Oh, won't you please take me home

I want to go
I want to know
Oh, won't you please take me hooooooome

4x-----87.5kg
3x4-----100kg
5x-----100kg

Press

Dips

3x5-----22.5kg

Pendlay Rows

5x5-----60kg

Comments:
Trying to squat with better form, keep up with the first session of the intense mesocycle. Suppose to do bench press but was lazy and perspiring over, did not feel like making the bench soak with my perspiration. Dips were still manageable, I think when I hit 25kg dips I might need to do something different. Gym's max is only 25! Hah ya la show off!

Heartbeat

Happiness

Was thinking about it last night, or rather super early this morning! I came across a few lines associated with it very well a long time ago. Unfortunately i forgot the exact quote but I had a gist of it. Yeah, i Googled it with inverted commas. So far I've compiled a few good ones.

No one can take your happiness unless you let them.

Happiness is a decision that only you can make.

People are gonna always find what bothers you and pick at it until they get under your skin and get you upset. It is by your choice only that you don't let them do that.

Then I found one that was awesome, at no other place than Stronglifts!

The Iron is the best antidepressant I have ever found. There is no better way to fight weakness than with strength. Once the mind and body have been awakened to their true potential, it’s impossible to turn back.

The Iron never lies to you. You can walk outside and listen to all kinds of talk, get told that you’re a god or a total bastard. The Iron will always kick you the real deal. The Iron is the great reference point, the all-knowing perspective giver. Always there like a beacon in the pitch black.

I have found the Iron to be my greatest friend. It never freaks out on me, never runs. Friends may come and go. But two hundred pounds is always two hundred pounds. – Henry Rollins.

So I've concluded that hanging out, listening to metal are what makes me happy!
And I've realised that squats make me the most happy lately!

How it was gonna be
So what'll happen to us baby

Press

1RM 65kg

Dips

3x5-----20kg

Pendlay Rows

5x5-----60kg

Comments:
Last time doing box squats - most comfortable squats ever. Got a new RM for press, I attempted for 67.5, couldn't, shall try again till i hit 70. Dips were still manageable, long way till i start stalling! Back to Pendlay rows man, miss those bastards, inverted are good but its so fucking good to be knocking out Pendlay rows!

Power Clean

8x3-----42.5kg

Jerk

5x5-----60kg

Pull Ups

3x3-----20kg

Comments:
Maybe i should substitute presses with jerks. Not only more effective at training my glutes' and hips' explosive power but also enables me to use heavier weights! Pull ups are a-okay!

Dips

3x5-----17.5kg

Pendlay Rows

2x5-----60kg
1x5-----70kg

Comments:
Squat negative, i pushed my butt as far back as i could. The top section of my quads closest to the hips sorta got crunched together didn't die anyway. Another attempt again for bench press. Dips were great. Pendlay rows was shiok man, long time never do.

Box Squat

12x2-----70kg

Press

4x5-----55kg

Comments:
Box squats were easy, need a more comfortable platform though. Press i think i stopped at 4 sets, was starting to breakdown already. Still i think i should have tried one last set in true stronglift tradition, damnit!

What Now?

So lately I've been thinking, I'm not attempting the 120. I'm gonna stick to the intense cycle with even more discipline than ever. It's the last hurdle.
